The Continuum Companions series is a major series of single volume companions to key research fields in the humanities aimed at postgraduate students, scholars and libraries. The Companions to key thinkers each offer a comprehensive reference resource with entries providing a thorough overview of the historical and philosophical context, key writings, themes and topics, major influences and reception of a central figure in the history of philosophy. Each volume will also feature an Editor’s Introduction and a comprehensive bibliography of primary and secondary sources.
