Continuum is a fast-growing publisher of academic, religious and trade books. We publish in those fields in which we feel we can make the most valid contribution to learning, scholarship and research. Our publishing programme is focussed on the humanities, in the fields of philosophy, film and music, literature, education, linguistics, theology and biblical studies.
Philosophy has been an integral part of our publishing programme since we launched in 1999. The list has grown at a fast rate since then, both organically and through the acquisition of some prestigious philosophy publishers, such as The Athlone Press and Thoemmes Press. We now publish around 100 new titles in philosophy every year and are proud to have established ourselves as a leading publisher of original works, translations, research monographs, student guides and textbooks at the cutting-edge of the field.
